VCU student receives new charge after DUI arrest

A Virginia Commonwealth University student is accused of drunk driving in a crash that killed another student last month. Now the student has been charged with another crime. This new charge could carry a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.

St. Patrick's Day is a time when many people come together to celebrate their Irish heritage. For those who aren't Irish, the holiday serves as a time to just get together with friends and celebrate for the sake of celebrating. Last weekend also marked a time for increased road patrols and DUI checkpoints by police.

Woman denied bond after alleged DUI crash

A woman arrested for a crash has been denied bond this week. The Virginia woman is accused of drunk driving and has been charged after police said her car hit three children and an adult near a school bus. Charges related to driving under the influence (DUI) should always be taken seriously.
